Smarter Capital, a leading Southwest-based acquisition company, concludes the year on a high note with its latest acquisition, securing a minority stake in Bristol-based Refresh Support Ltd on December 24th, 2022. This strategic acquisition also marks the launch of the Support Services vertical within the growing Group.
The newly established support services vertical is centred around UK-based companies capable of providing services to the Group's core verticals while supporting their existing and future external client bases. Smarter Capital's core verticals consist of the Digital Marketing/Design & Development sector, known as the 'Digital' vertical, as well as E-commerce.
Refresh Support is an established business specialising in providing comprehensive IT support and solutions to SMEs within the region. Renowned for their friendly and approachable approach, Refresh Support operates with a dedicated IT helpdesk based in Yate, Bristol. Founded in 2011 by Mark Burgess and Mark Graham, the company has experienced continuous growth year after year.
Regarding the recent deal, Mark Burgess commented:
